TOP 6 THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN MAKE OEM GUITAR

 acoustic guitar

With the changes in the guitar market, the demand for guitar customization is increasing. Whether it's a guitarist's personalized customization or a local wholesaler's customization. Now it's not just custom logos, for every aspect of the guitar, they will have unique designs based on their market feedback. Here are 6 important elements of a custom guitar:

1.Body Shape:

The body shape is a very important aspect of the build. We offer a variety of body shapes, such as dreadnought, concert, JF, grand auditorium , Orchestra model ,Auditorium . Each body shape is responsible for producing unique tonal complexities.

2.Top Wood :

It is believed that more than 80% of the tonal character of an acoustic guitars comes from the top. The face plate acts as a soundboard for the movement of the strings and produces the sound depending on the type of wood used. Wood options range from softer woods such as redwood and western red cedar for soft touch and fingerpicking, to harder woods such as Adirondack spruce and bearpaw Sitka spruce, which can withstand Aggressive playing style and projected onto the audience.

3. Back&Side Wood :

The back and sides help provide the guitar's tonal character, such as the instrument's bass and treble characteristics. Woods such as maple give the guitar its high-pitched character and produce clear notes, making it a desirable material for recording. On the other hand, woods in the rosewood family, such as East Indian rosewood, Brazilian rosewood, and rosewood, are known for their powerful bass response. Back and side woods vary in appearance and sound characteristics to suit everyone.

4.Finish :

Many custom guitars are coated with a clear finish that accentuates the shape, color and grain of the high-quality wood used. There is also a choice of opaque to transparent pops and stains to enhance the look of your guitar. Some color finishes are subtle and can accentuate the natural character of the wood, such as aged toner panels. This clear stain warms the golden hue of spruce tops to mimic the aging process of guitar tops. It also showcases the striking cross-grain of Bearpaw Sitka spruce. Other bursts of color work can range from subtle ribbon bursts to more dramatic teardrop bursts. The color options are endless.

5.Binding :

The role of the binding is to create clearly defined areas between the top, back and side woods and to provide a decorative and structural element to the guitar design. Looks range from simple black plastic to exotic wood bindings such as bloodwood or acacia bindings. The trim on the back and sides of the top helps to sharpen the transition areas between the woods. The trim can be as simple as black/white/black thread, or more intricate and dramatic with abalone shell trim or herringbone marquetry.

6.Inlay:

Tessellation is a way to deeply personalize an instrument. Choose a standard tessellation that expresses your style, from simple and clean offset point position markers to more complex River of Life tessellation styles. The use of various inlay materials helps to make the inlay full of color and movement. Materials range from iridescent shells: abalone, mother-of-pearl, sea snails to vibrantly colored regenerated stones: lapis lazuli, turquoise, coral and agate.
